| BUYING AND COMMISSIONING Delivery Paintings will be despatched normally within ten days of receiving payment. In the UK, they will be sent by the Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service, and David Mead will contact you to arrange a convenient date for delivery. The paintings will be packaged securely for maximum protection. In the unlikely event of any damage occurring in transit, please contact the artist immediately by email or telephone 01395 568950. Mounts and Frames Unless stated otherwise, all works are supplied unframed in plain, ivory-coloured, acid-free mounts (matts), which may, if you wish, be lined or used as the inner card of a double mount by your local framer. For UK customers only, the artist is normally able to offer a bespoke framing service by special arrangement and at extra cost. If you would like to receive your painting already framed, please discuss your requirements as to frame style and colour with David Mead – telephone 01395 568950 or use the email form.

Painting Commissions The artist welcomes enquiries regarding commissions, whether for paintings to adorn your home or illustrations for publications. Birds are his specialty, but he also paints other wildlife, pet portraits, landscapes and plants. To discuss your requirements, please telephone David Mead on 01395 568950 or use the email form. Writing Commissions As a former Fleet Street journalist, David Mead offers a range of writing services, not only about birds but also including corporate newsletters, press releases and feature articles for magazines and newspapers. Much of his freelance work in this field has involved the promotion of trade and tourism in the UK, and he has acted as information officer for one of England’s oldest historic gardens. Telephone David on 01395 568950 or use the email form.
